Dr. István Hiller, Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament visited Lebanon and on 18 June 2019 held official talks with Mr. Nabih Berry, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, as well as the members of the recently formed Hungarian friendship group of the representative house, headed by Mr. Ali Osseiran, Member of the Parliament. Their talks focused on the strengthening of the relationship between the two legislative bodies. Dr. István Hiller also met with Mr. Mohammad Daoud, Minister of Culture of Lebanon, and they discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the national museums of Hungary and Lebanon.
