In order for a Hungarian authority to accept a document, you will need to legalise the copy that you wish to use in Hungary.
Please note that legalisation means that the consul establishes the veracity of the copy only and not the content of the document, for which the Consular Section bears no responsibility.

Legalisation of a copy: the Consular Section legalises the copy the applicant made of an original document, upon presentation of the original document itself.
Certified copy: upon presentation of the original document, the Consular Section makes a certified/legalised copy of it.

- Legalisation of a copy (after the 1st and then every 6th page): 17 USD
- Certified copy (after the 1st and then every 6th page): 23 USD
